Why Berkshire

Quoting the pair in BRKX turns the chart into a benchmark. A desk that publishes every fill, every fee and every drawdown should publish them against something that does not flatter it, and Berkshire Hathaway is the company that made reporting the bad years in plain language part of its identity. That is the posture this desk already had before there was a token; the pairing names a resemblance rather than borrowing one.

Two things that belong in the same breath. Berkshire is a conglomerate holding company, not a hedge fund — Buffett wound down his partnership in 1969, explicitly rejecting the fee structure hedge funds run on. And the comparison is a benchmark, not a peer claim: this desk is $100 across ten bots and days old, against sixty years of record and hundreds of billions in assets. Anyone reading it as a claim of equivalence has been misled, and we would rather say so here than let the framing do it quietly.

How holder rewards work

StonkFun's reward model applies a transfer tax to every transfer of the token, on any venue, and pays it out to holders in the quote asset — so holding $KALMAN accrues BRKX automatically, pro-rata, with no staking and nothing to claim.

That mechanism is the launchpad's, not ours. Every token listed there has it. We neither built it nor operate it, we cannot pause or redirect it, and the platform takes a cut of the collected tax to cover distribution. There is also a minimum holding required at the moment of a distribution — dust wallets are skipped. Read StonkFun's own terms for the authoritative numbers; ours would be a copy that can drift.

The tax is friction as well as yield. It applies to every transfer, so a round trip costs it twice, before any spread.

What we hold

No more than the platform's maximum initial buy, which is 2.5% of supply, and we will not accumulate more on the open market. The holder list is public on the venue's own token page, so this is verifiable rather than merely asserted — which is why it is worth stating as a commitment.

That treasury accrues its 2.5% share of every distribution, exactly like any other holder of that size. We are disclosing that up front rather than leaving it to be worked out. The proceeds fund new bots on the live desk — deposits recorded as capital flows, on bots published and audited the same way the current ten are. The token does not pay us. It pays the desk, in public.

What it does not entitle you to

  • No share of trading profits. The desk's capital is the desk's. Performance is published, not distributed.
  • No claim on the desk, its assets, or its capital — and no equity, no debt, no redemption right.
  • No governance over the desk's own ten bots, their parameters, or their capital.
  • No promise the desk makes money. It is currently down. That number stays on the front page.

What it does not change

Nothing about the desk. The same strategies run on the same capital, the risk gate applies the same seven checks in the same order, and every fill, fee, rejection and drawdown publishes exactly as it did before. The token is priced against a benchmark the desk is measured by; it is not an input to any trading decision. If a token holder and a reader of the engine room ever see different numbers, that is a bug and we would want to hear about it.

What is not built yet

Two things are described in our plans and are deliberately absent from the product until they exist. Desk performance denominated in BRKX — the benchmark scoreboard — needs a price feed that is not wired up. And a mechanic letting holders propose and vote on what the desk's next bot should be is designed but unbuilt. Neither is announced as live anywhere on this site, and neither should be assumed.

Nothing here is financial advice or an offer of any kind. A token quoted against a tokenised equity is not the equity, carries none of its rights, and is not a claim on Berkshire Hathaway, which has no involvement with this project. Assume you can lose everything you put into it.
